Martin is a self-confessed plantaholic with a passion for collecting and using herbaceous perennial plants in exciting and dramatic ways. Together with his wife Janet he runs SpecialPerennials.com and holds the National Plant Collection of Helenium cultivars. Martin is also Plant Heritage (NCCPG) County Collections Co-ordinator for Cheshire, providing assistance and guidance to existing and prospective collection holders in the county. Before giving way to his plant obsessions Martin was a successful lecturer on business facilitation and creativity, speaking at major events in Britain, Europe, Canada and the USA.
