Spanton's nursery specialises in Mandevilla and Dipladenia which are ever
green and semi evergreen, or deciduous, woody-stemmed twinning climbers,
grown for their large trumpet-shaped flowers and glossy green foliage.
Mandevilla
is very well suited to the
English climate and our trials over the last 5 years have proved that
this wonderful plant performs very well in heat and in a typically wet
English summer.
Mandy Plants are currently offering the Sundaville range of Mandevillas which are bred by Suntory Flowers of Japan. They have the Original series which is available currently in four colours with a medium flower size, then we have the Pretty type which has two colours, again with a medium flower size. Finally they have the large flowered type the Cosmos series, currently we are offering two colours of White and Crimson. Liz is happy to offer advise on growing, flowering and winter care at the fair alternatively full growing instructions are on their website.
