Composting is
something practical which we can all do to support a sustainable future.
About one third of all household waste could be composted,
reducing the mountains of waste which we send to landfill each year.
The Master
Composter Project is a joint initiative by Cheshire West & Cheshire
East Councils to encourage residents to home compost.
The project uses
40 local volunteers who act as ‘composting experts’, attending
events and activities across the county to give advice and information
on the art of composting.
The volunteers
are available to run stalls, give talks and deliver workshops to adults
and children.
