Free entry to fair and lakeside walks
One of the many things we love about Dearnford Lake is
the chance to have a quiet stroll around the lake before our plant fair
begins. Last year there was so much wildlife to see. Great Crested
Grebes as well as the shyer Little Grebe or Dabchick. Lots of ducks
including the perky Tufted Ducks ,as well as swans, Reed Warblers, Great
tits and many more.
Dearnford Lake is a picturesque, 50 acre site on the

For me it's off to work on our plant stall after my
stroll but once you've worked
up an appetite you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea
in the lakeside cafe. The cafe's menu changes with the seasons and is full
of quality, local ingredients. The Full English Breakfast and Eggs
Benedict come highly recommended!
