We are really thrilled to return to this dramatic and
enthralling landscape garden in the heart of the North Staffordshire countryside.
With over 70 acres of lakes, garden and landscape to
explore via over four miles of paths (much tarmac) and with many covered
areas to sit visitors can truly make a day of it whatever the
weather. Click here for a map of the venue.
Our plant fair gives the added incentive of meeting
many of the country's top specialist nurseries offering a great range of
plants. Visitors can enjoy the gardens and fair for the special event
price of just £2.00 which must be one of the best value days out
around.
We first saw the gardens on the BBC Series "Open
Gardens" and were amazed at the feat of landscaping undertaken by William
Podmore OBE in fashioning the gardens from their industrial origins. In
spring there are displays of daffodils and snowdrops and the green,
bursting buds of the woodlands to enjoys plus the ever dramatic vistas
and views.
We are lining up a great selection of
award-winning specialist nurseries each offering something different to
choose from but as always each reaching the same high standard of
quality and expertise.
Entry to Fair
and Gardens: £2.00 (children free)
Free parking.
