Bramall Hall 11th April  11am - 4.30pm

Bramall Hall is one of Cheshire's grandest black and white timber-framed Tudor manor houses with Victorian additions. The Hall is set amongst 70 acres of parkland, which have been landscaped in the style of Capability Brown. The plant fair featuring atop quality specialist nurseries including RHS Gold Medallists and National Collection Holders will be held on the croquet lawn next to the hall. 

Admission to the fair is £1 (in aid of special projects to maintain and improve the hall and parkland) deductible from optional admission to the hall. Children under 16 free entry to fair.

We have a great range of nurseries from near and far. Those confirmed so far are:

Conquest Plants Nursery a local favourite with a beautiful range of hardy plants with coloured and variegated foliage

Green's Leaves (Gloucestershire) will feature Prostantera cultivars, choice foliage plants with flowers - Beschornerias, Libertia, Epimediums, Dark Foliage plants, Grevilleas,

Hall Farm Nursery (Shropshire) will bring a wide range of plants including spring flowering bulbs and woodland perennials. (RHS Gold Medallist including Chelsea Gold)

Hillview Hardy Plants (Shropshire) hold two National Collections - Acanthus and Albuca. They will also be bringing Primulas, Auriculas and early flowering perennials. (RHS Medallists)

Holden Clough Nursery  (Lancashire) will feature a wide range of shrubs, perennials, ferns, ornamental trees and heathers. (RHS Medallists)

Mandy Plants: (Cheshire) a very local grower of Mandevilla and Dipladenia (New to this event)

Packhorse Farm Nursery (Derbyshire) ill bring a range of Trees and Shrubs including a great selection of Acers. (RHS Gold Medallists)

Plantagogo (Cheshire) will feature both new and heritage varieties from their National Collections of Heuchera and Heucherella as well as plants from their proposed collection of Tiarella. (RHS Gold Medallists including Chelsea Gold) (New to this event)

SpecialPerennials.com (Cheshire) wth a range of summer perennials including lots of lovely Geums in flower, plants for the the National Collection of Helenium and proposed National Collection of Centaurea, a really great selection of heritage border Phlox, a good selection from one of the largest ranges of Day Lily in the country, Achillea, Rudbeckia and many more beautiful and garden worthy plants.

Stonyford Cottage Nursery (Cheshire) with a great range of perennials, trees, tender plants and many rare and hard to find Sempervivums.

Sue Proctor Plants (Yorkshire) will feature a terrific range of Hostas and complementary plants (New to this event)

Tissington Nursery from Derbyshire will be bringing a good selection of quality unusual perennials with especially good ranges of Nepeta, Penstemon, Geranium and Geum. (New to this event)

Woodfield Nursery (North Wales) will bring a great range of hardy perennials with many varieties of Geranium plus some interesting shrubs.

Directions: 

From Stockport Town Centre travel south along Wellington Road South (A6) to Bramhall Lane (A5102) and turn right (at the Blossoms {Public House). This road changes into Bramall Lane South. Carry on along this road - follow the historic signposts (brown in colour).

You will turn right down Bramhall Park Road. Look out for Hall Road where you will turn left. This road takes you to the Hall's 2 car parks. The 2nd car park is nearer to the Hall's entrance
